The Lutheran Service Society of New York has been helping people build their families through adoption since 1905.
Adoption services are provided in a professional and confidential manner. The program focuses on identifying and educating healthy, loving families for children. Services include:
- International and Domestic adoption services.
- A home study investigation that meets State, County, Immigration and Foreign Country requirements.
- Child Abuse Registry clearance and Finger Printing .
- Placing orphaned children from Poland with US families.
- Linkage to numerous adoption agencies across the United States which place children from countries such as Russia, China, Bulgaria and Nepal, to name a few.
- Parenting Adopted Children Together (PACT) parenting education and training
- Post placement visits and reports
- Support services
