Spiritual Care

The focus of our Spiritual Care program is to provide spiritual care and Christian worship services to individuals living in area adult care facilities.

Research on the value and effect of Spiritual Care has demonstrated that spiritual care for persons residing in long term care settings contributes to the peace of mind and quality of life for these individuals.

Due to the musical talent of Pastor Miller, music is incorporated into the worship services.

LSS staff, Chaplains and volunteers welcome the opportunity to be:

  • A provider of worship services
  • A provider of religious rituals such as communion, prayer and blessings
  • A comforter to the one who grieves
  • A companion on one’s journey through life
    An empathetic listener to one who is experiencing spiritual or emptional distress
  • A conversational partner
